David James Photography

David Monrroy a photographer based in San Francisco bay area, California. David is best known for his moody landscapes. He takes inspiration from old faded National Geographic Magazines, and he loved how these landscapes looked in these old magazines.  Over time his landscapes have derived an inner resonance with these images that he was exposed to in his past and have shifted the way he works with the medium.

David studied photography at California State University East Bay, where he fell in love with portrait photography and the fashion industry. David has been focusing his on his portraiture skills and fashion photography for the past few years while remaining true to his first love. He fell in love with capturing people’s emotions and the purity of the human body through his lens. David utilizes his skills learned through landscape photography and implements them in his portraits to create stylized and moody photographs that capture the eye of the viewer.
